Honors Society

The Maryville Junior High Honor Society is a service and honor organization for 8th grade and freshman students.  Students making all A’s and at most one B at the end of the first semester in either grade will be invited to become active members.  An induction reception will be held in January or February of each year. Members are expected to uphold high standards of leadership, character, and service through exemplary behavior.  A minimum of 10 hours of community service (after school hours) will be required.  On awards day, students who meet the criteria will be recognized for their excellent work.

If your student is interested in being in the National Honor Society, Maryville Scholars, or eligible for the Lamar Alexander Scholarships at Maryville High School, please refer to the Maryville High School Course Catalog.
